Surgical check-in is between 8:00-8:30 am. At that time, we will weigh the patient and one of our technicians will meet with the owner to discuss the surgery and answer any questions. The owner is required to sign a surgery consent form.

Appointment Policy
We work on an appointment-only basis. Emergency walk-ins during business hours are taken if we are able. We will refer to the Animal Emergency Clinic in Rockford for emergencies we believe are beyond our capability during our normal business hours or after hours. We do offer early drop-off service available between 8 & 8:30am. This service must be arranged ahead of time via phone. If dropping a pet off for medical treatment, clients will need to allow the time to visit with either a Technician or a Doctor to go over the problems and treatments being performed.
These options described above are for established clients whose pets have had a physical exam within the last year.
Payment Policy
Payment is expected at time of service. We will provide estimates prior to any procedures. We offer a number of payment options (see below). At this time we do not offer any billing. We are a locally owned small business and our ability to deliver quality animal care is based on fair fees for services rendered.
We accept cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express and Care Credit. We will take a personal check with the proper ID. We offer a discount on the Wellness Exam to clients bringing in two pets on the same visit. We also honor appropriate certificates from Winnebago County Animal Services. These options described above are for established clients whose pets have had a physical exam within the last year.
Retail Center
We stock Royal Canin and Hill’s prescription diet pet food. We also stock a variety of other products: shampoo, vitamins, ear cleaner, dental care products and household flea treatment.
